René Silva leads Panitex today as its founder and CEO, directing the strategy and execution of high-complexity projects for the public sector. With over 30 years of experience in public and private contracting, he has been responsible for the execution of more than 60 public contracts, in addition to serving 177 indigenous communities through the integration of river and maritime mobility, protection, communications, and specialized supplies in hard-to-reach territories.
René's guiding principle remains the same that has guided his entire career: "Be reliable, always". For him, leading Panitex means acknowledging that every executed contract impacts lives, institutions, and communities. Therefore, trust is not just a corporate value: it is the foundation upon which lasting relationships are built with the State, suppliers, and with the territories that need it most.
Trained in the textile sector from its foundations, René Silva developed his career understanding that trust is not a discourse, but a result. His experience covered the entire textile production chain and the management of commercial teams in leading companies in the country. This journey allowed him to understand how to structure efficient operations, meet demanding technical standards, and respond precisely to contracts of high institutional responsibility.
To this experience is added extensive international exposure throughout his business career, which has allowed René to develop a capacity for recognizing operational, cultural, and logistical patterns. This ability has enabled him to adapt solutions, anticipate risks, and make informed decisions in diverse contexts, transferring global learnings to complex local realities.
Today, René Silva understands social development not as a discourse, but as a measurable result of a job well done. His leadership focuses on building teams, processes, and institutional relationships that allow fulfilling what has been agreed upon, even in the most demanding scenarios.
